It has been revealed that AKB48's Mariko Shinoda will appear in the upcoming “Ouran High School Host Club” film next March. She will play as a spoiled daughter of a rich family.
hinoda’s role will be an international student from Singapore, Michelle, and she will cut in between Haruhi and Tamaki for some kind of plot. She is set as half Singaporean, half Japanese.
There are scenes that Shinoda speaks English. She stated, ”It’s hard. I memorized the lines by reciting them like a charm, but I’m really enjoying the filming. I always burst out laughing with the co-stars.”
“Ouran High School Host Club” film is scheduled to be released on March 17th 2012.
